A Lifetime of Service and Storytelling
Ralph Bargabos was medically retired as a Master Sergeant (E-8) after 17 years of service in the U.S. Army. Starting his career with the National Guard, Ralph transitioned to the Regular Army as an Air Defense Artillery Specialist (MOS 16P). He served at various posts globally, including Fort Lewis, WA; Germany; Korea; and Fort Bliss, TX, where he shaped recruits as a Drill Sergeant.
In addition to his military duties, Ralph worked as a recruiter, earning a Gold Badge for his outstanding work. His experiences—from boot camp to overseas deployments—are the foundation of his storytelling, bringing to light the challenges, camaraderie, and life lessons gained through service.
Today, Ralph lives in North Carolina, continuing to share his unique perspective on military life through his writing, engaging readers with inspirational and entertaining stories.
